This year, the Russian Church commemorates the 100th anniversary of the blessed repose of St. Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia. On April 7, 2025, at 10 a.m., the Divine Liturgy of the Annunciation will be held at St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York City, during which a prayer will be offered to St. Tikhon, who founded this church.
The service will be led by the Primate of the Orthodox Church in America, Metropolitan Tikhon, assisted by the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, Metropolitan Nicholas; the Temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, Bishop Matthew; and Archbishop Irenaeus of Ottawa and Canada (Orthodox Church in America).
