The event is a fund raiser to benefit special needs Russian orphans. Specifically, the Happy Families International Center’s “I Want To Walk” program which arranges surgeries and prostheses for Russian orphans who are without legs or arms. The program also assists in getting the proper training for the children to be able to live independent and productive lives after they leave the orphanages. It is a very worthy cause with many success stories!
